Car pick-up and return instructions

Upon arrival at the arrivals terminal of Helsinki Airport, first proceed to collect your car keys from our office.

Our office is located In the Scandic/Avia Fleet building, at Pilotjäntie 1 B. Follow the signs out of the terminal and take a short trip to the building according to the route marked on the map.

The office will provide you with car keys and, if necessary, more detailed instructions. Once you have received the keys, go P3b Parking Garage.

Location of the car:
P3b parking garage street level

When returning the car, drive it back to the same P3B hall and leave the car at the marked Finn-Rent return point.

Return the keys to our office in the Pilotjäntie 1 B, Scandic/Avia Fleet building, unless otherwise agreed.

Do I always reserve a specific car brand?

When booking through our online system, you reserve a vehicle class, not a specific brand or model.

Does the rental include fuel?

Fuel is not included in the rental price. The vehicle is provided with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank. If you prefer, you can return the vehicle without refuelling for an additional fee, which must be arranged no later than at the time of pick-up.

How can I pay for the rental?

You can pay for your rental online at the time of booking or at pick-up using the most common debit and credit cards.

What should I do if an accident occurs during the rental?

All our vehicles are insured in accordance with the Road Traffic Act.

  • If a third party is involved, always contact the authorities and request them to attend the scene.
  • Complete a damage report and submit the report to our office
  • You are responsible for damages only up to the agreed deductible, in accordance with the rental terms.
  • You can reduce the deductible by purchasing additional cover at the time of booking.

Can I cancel my rental before it starts?

Yes, you can cancel your rental up to 48 hours before the start of the rental period. In that case, we will refund the amount you have already paid, minus any cancellation or processing fees specified in the booking terms and conditions.
